I was on the NHS waiting list for a Full shoulder replacement.I then went to the Lincoln Hospital and met my Consultant Mr Desai.Mr Desai is a very Friendly Doctor,and put me at ease straight away.He said I needed a full shoulder replacement.He explained the procedure and everything else that would be happening.I must admit the thought of having this operation scared me a little.Within a few weeks it was surgery Day.The day run smoothly and with great care from my Doctor and everyone else involved in my care.I was allowed home the following day,and was still been looked after by phone calls from the hospital staff,to make sure I was doing ok.Once I had healed from the operation my shoulder is pain free.I cannot thank Mr Desai enough for what he has done.To be pain free is amazing.I have that much confidence in Mr Desai.I am returning to his care again to have my other shoulder replacement done next week.I would recommend Mr Desai to do any operation,the care and compassion given by him is 100%.Mr Desai I will be forever grateful to you,for giving me my life back,to do the things I want to do and not be in any pain.

I would like to thank Mr Desai at St Hughes Hospital. I had surgery on 22nd December 2023, to remove a gangolin cyst from my index finger. Mr Desai is an excellent surgeon. I felt completely at ease and he explained exactly what would happen during the operation. Thank you again for your amazing bedside manner, care and superb staff. Mrs G M Wrack

I saw Mr Desai at an NHS appointment at first but the waiting list for my operation was a year +. Thankfully my husband had private care for us both so I was able to see Mr Desai privately and was able to have my operation 2weeks later. If this hadn’t have happened privately, I would have lost my job as I had been unable to move my arm and as an HSA within the nhs I was unable to physically do my duties.

I had a shoulder operation at my local hospital in Lincoln , the service I received was first class and the after care so far has been excellent, I have had very little pain and discomfort , I had key hole surgery which you can hardly see after two and a half weeks , I was very nervous prior but I needn’t have been
